With the warmer winter weather the past few weeks I headed out towards the airport

During this month

As I walked on the new walkway towards the Whale Sculpture in Juneau

Playing with some camera motion to bring out the lines of the sculpture was my inspiration in this photograph

The Merchandise Mart in Lower Downtown opened in 1931 and has an Art Deco style to the building

Union Station During the Holidays Presentation:Matted With the warmer winter weatherAs the renovations were taking place, I headed to Union Station right around Christmas to photograph the light on the Wynkoop side of the building, just after a snow system had moved through the city. While the facade of the building has not changed much over those years the plaza and areas right next to this have changed as the project on the building comes nearer to completion.
