This can be used on a desk, bedside table, or anywhere else for some great lighting! The base is short, with a silver toned round base on the bottom and the middle is a black orb. The lampshade is a yellow velvet type of material which gives this piece some flair! In relatively good shape there is a bit of rust on the base. Please see photographs. The cord is wrapped, and there are a few kinks tears in the wrapping. In
