It has the factory stamps NS64 (Vereinigte Deutsche Nickelwerke) and the lot number is D253

The heat stamp is 871E

Brit42 The helmet has the ArmyBrit42 The shell is an original WW2, British manufactured MkII shell with a stainless steel banded edge. The stainless steel chinstrap lugs are the MkIII type and are marked III 1943. The factory stamps under the flare near the rear seam are 455 1943; there is no stamp for the actual manufacturer.
