Specifically this kit adapts the outside of the OEM PCV connector to the 10AN male connector

changes direction by 90 degrees to travel through the panel filter and then changes direction again by 90 degrees to move through the tube section

it replaces the original unit with a pressure/vacuum operated piston valve that still also retains the desirable OEM ECU control over valve actuation
