Boiler House Flues Colour:White The station closed on 26Corroded steel and crumbling concrete: the boiler house flues at Portland Cement Works rise against open sky, stripped back to their structural bones. Part of a works that produced cement continuously from 1902 until November 1991, these flues once served a plant that at its peak supplied roughly 40% of all Portland cement manufactured in Australia.
